About Zuluf | Christian Olive Wood Factory, Beit Sahour, Bethlehem A Christian Family Business in the Heart of Bethlehem Beit Sahour, Bethlehem is called the City of the Shepherds. It is here that a Christian family has been carving olive wood and shipping faith-filled gifts to churches and homes across the world since 2007. That family is Zuluf. We are not a drop-shipper, a reseller, or an importer. We are the source. Our factory in Beit Sahour, Holy Land employs 20+ full-time staff and works with 14+ partner Christian family workshops, producing handmade olive wood crosses , nativity sets , rosaries , and sacred Holy Land gifts shipped to 30+ countries worldwide. A Real Workshop. Not a Warehouse. Our Olive Wood Factory in Bethlehem Our main factory in Beit Sahour, Bethlehem employs over 20 full-time staff: carvers, finishers, packers, and customer service, all working under one roof. Every piece is inspected by hand before it ships. We are one of the main factories supplying Jerusalem gift shops and Bethlehem stores across the West Bank. When you order from Zuluf, you buy direct from the workshop that made your piece. No middleman, no reseller. Our Partners in the Bethlehem Region 14+ Christian Family Workshops We Work With Beyond our own factory, we partner with 14+ small Christian family workshops across the Bethlehem region. When you buy an anointing oil, a mother of pearl cross, or a hand-painted icon from Zuluf, it came from a family workshop that depends on your order to stay open. Supporting Christian Families in the Holy Land Beit Sahour, Bethlehem is the City of the Shepherds, where the angels announced the birth of Christ, where Boaz met Ruth, and where King David tended his father's flock. It is one of the oldest Christian communities on earth, and it is facing a quiet crisis. The Christian population of the Holy Land has collapsed over the past century. Economic hardship, conflict, and emigration are pushing families out of the land their ancestors never left. Every order placed with Zuluf goes directly to the families who stayed, helping keep a workshop open, a child in school, and a Christian family in the land where Christ was born. "I did not build Zuluf to run a business. I built it so that our families could stay in Bethlehem and carve, the same way their fathers did, and their fathers before them." Elias Zuluf, Founder Founded Zuluf in 2007 after growing up surrounded by olive wood workshops in Beit Sahour. In 2017, the Palestinian Authority named Elias Palestine Exporter of the Year , the only Holy Land olive wood factory to receive this recognition. Is Zuluf a real factory or a dropshipper?
