Trusted In Filtration Since 2006 20+Years In Business The trusted online source for HVAC filters since 2006. Family-founded in 2006. Headquartered in Washington State with partner fulfillment centers across the country — serving homeowners, facility managers, schools, hospitals, and government buyers from coast to coast. During the dot-com boom, Beau's father — then in the middle of a 50-year career in commercial HVAC — made an offhand comment: "Somebody should sell filters online." It stuck. Years later, at 24, Beau finally took the leap. Long story short: he tracked down AAF Flanders — one of the largest filter manufacturers in the world, and a partner we still work with today — built a website, and sold his first case of filters out of a Pacific Northwest garage in 2006. That first-case moment is still the shape of how we operate — find the best manufacturers, build real relationships with them, and put the right product in front of the customer without the markup games. Beau grew up around the industry, and his father's 50 years in commercial HVAC is still the expertise foundation baked into how we select product, how we answer questions, and why we've never carried anything we wouldn't install in our own system. His dad had another piece of advice: "Commercial is where you want to be." That took longer to get to. Residential is what got us here — thousands of homeowners over two decades, learning the business one case at a time, building the operational muscle to handle serious accounts. Today we serve schools, hospitals, hotels, military installations, and government buyers with the same care and product discipline we started with — now at scale. The residential side didn't get left behind; it got us the experience to do both well. "I've spent a lifetime around this industry — learned it from my dad, took the courses, took some losses, built real relationships along the way. One of my early customers met Babe Ruth once and got a signed ball. You don't forget calls like that. A filter isn't a commodity — it's either protecting a $15,000 to $1 million+ HVAC system or quietly destroying it. Once you understand that, you stop buying on price alone." Twenty years later, RememberTheFilter.com is one of the larger independent online HVAC filter retailers in the country. We ship from partner fulfillment centers in Washington, California, Texas, North Carolina, Florida, Oklahoma, Illinois, Kentucky, Utah, and beyond — orders route to the closest warehouse, which means faster delivery and lower shipping costs. We custom-cut filters to 1/8″ precision through our Exact Filters® program, and we serve schools, hospitals, hotels, military installations, and federal, state, and municipal government buyers through RTF Commercial Services . Customer service still runs out of Washington State. We still answer the phone ourselves. And every order — whether it's a single 16x25x1 for a Seattle bungalow or a standing quarterly delivery for a 50-building campus — gets treated like it matters, because it does. Only trusted manufacturers. No knockoffs. Every filter we sell comes from a recognized manufacturer — AAF Flanders, Koch, NaturalAire, VariCel, or our own PrimeShield™ line. We don't stock white-label imports, re-branded overseas product, or the "looks similar" knockoffs customers end up returning from Amazon. Every product on our site is a filter. We don't chase categories we don't understand — and we don't let third-party sellers list alongside us. When you order here, you know exactly what's shipping and who stands behind it. Our Custom Filter Builder produces filters to 1/8″ precision in any dimension from 6″ to 40″. We work with vetted manufacturing partners who specialize in custom fabrication — so you get real precision, not loose tolerances, and shipped in days instead of weeks. Bulk orders, standing deliveries, POs, net terms, and tax-exempt purchasing for schools, hospitals, hotels, universities, military installations, and federal, state, and municipal agencies. We handle 889 compliance, W-9s, COIs, and vendor registration — whatever your procurement team needs. Mis-measured your filter? We'll remake it. Our Filter Fit Guarantee covers custom-size measurement mistakes — something most mass-market filter retailers will simply refuse. Nationwide fulfillment, real shipping speed Orders ship from partner warehouses in 9+ states, so product routes from the closest location to you. Faster delivery, lower freight costs, and fewer damaged filters from transcontinental shipping. Most of our new customers come from one of three places: Amazon — after they ordered what looked like a name-brand filter and received an overseas knockoff. Third-party sellers on Amazon swap inventory constantly. You don't know what you're actually getting until it arrives. Other online filter retailers — after realizing the "generic" private-label product at those sites is often the same overseas material, just re-labeled. We carry the actual brands (Flanders, Koch, NaturalAire), not white-label substitutes. Big-box stores and contractors — after paying a 2-3× markup for MERV 8 pleateds, or discovering the store doesn't carry their odd-size commercial filter at all. If you've had one of those experiences, you already know the difference that knowing what you're buying makes. Our catalog covers every standard HVAC filter category, plus the specialty work most retailers can't or won't handle: Pleated filters MERV 8, 10, 11, 13 from AAF Flanders, Koch, NaturalAire, PrimeShield™ HEPA & ULPA True 99.97% at 0.3μm for cleanrooms and critical environments Commercial bag filters Extended-surface pocket filters for large HVAC systems Rigid cell / box filters V-bank and box-style for commercial air handlers Basic fiberglass panel Budget-grade equipment protection, MERV 1–4 Washable metal filters Reusable aluminum for ongoing cost savings Exact Filters® Custom-cut to 1/8″ in any dimension from 6″ to 40″ PrimeShield™ Our five-tier MERV-rated line: MAX Airflow → Essential → Enhanced → Advanced → Elite Residential: homeowners and property managers who want a trusted online source for replacement HVAC, furnace, and AC filters without the big-box trip. Commercial: facility managers at schools, hotels, clinics, universities, retirement communities, data centers, and property management firms — anywhere indoor air quality and equipment protection actually matter. Government & military: federal agencies, military installations, state and municipal buyers.
